How Good is the Olive Garden?

I’ve never eaten at the Olive Garden, but my daughter loved the soup and endless breadsticks.  Loved, as in game over for endless breadsticks, thanks to Michelle Obama.  Darden Restaurants, the company that owns the Olive Garden and a bunch of other restaurants, announced in September 2011 that it will cut the “calorie footprint” and sodium levels in its meals and create new kids’ menus to comply with the first lady’s public health objectives.

I’m all for lower sodium because you can salt it back up, if you want, but how is that lower calorie footprint going to affect taste?  Fat makes food taste good.  If you don’t like it, stay home and eat healthier.

Some people say the Olive Garden is not real Italian.  What do you think?  Would you recommend the Olive Garden to your friends?  Click here to vote on it.
