Update To My Ez Moves Post Last Week

On November 2, I order one of those Ez Moves.  It came in the mail today.  Only took 6 days.

So the first thing I noticed is that the box smelled of cheap cologne.  Don’t know if that was my mailman trying to act all sexy or if the box was impregnated with it from lord knows who.  I also noticed the shoddy taping job on the box.  Clear tape was used and it was along one edge and two corners and folded over in the corners.  That is not the work of a professional fulfillment company.

Both units (buy one, get one free) came in one box.  So yea, I’d say I was dead on about the shipping scam being $7.95 for EACH unit.  There’s no fricking way that box cost $15.96 to ship.  They make a mint on shipping charges.

The handles came in bubble wrap and the pads where shrink wrapped.  One of the pad packages was opened and one of the pads was dirty.  The foam side was muddy and the felt side full of grit.  WTF?  It was used.

Later on in the day I went to put it all back in the box so I could put it away.  I was tidying up one of the handles cause it was coming out of the bubble wrap and that’s when I noticed the damn thing HAD been used!  That black fulcrum thing on the bottom of the handle was all scratched up and it looked like it had been used outside in the mud.  Can you believe that shit?  Ez Moves re-gifted me someone else’s return.

I just got off the phone with their customer service department.  I was expecting a bunch of crap, but I got a nice young lady who typed up an order to send out a new unit at no additional charge.  Didn’t even have to return this one.
